BOOT CAMP- This is a high energy, calorie burning, extremely fun class! Novices and well-conditioned athletes will be challenged at their own pace. The best part is that no two classes are the same! You'll never get bored from working out again! An example breakdown of the class would be a 20 minute abdominal workout, 20 minutes strength training, and 20 minutes of pure cardio. Some example exercises are: aerobic karate, jump training, yoga, and turkish stand-ups (you'll have to come to the class to find out what this is!). This class meets twice per week for 1 hour, and is taught by a certified personal trainer. Choose Monday & Wednesday from 6-7pm or Tuesday & Thursday from 7-8pm. The cost is $75 for members and $85 for non-members. YOGA- We will be offering 2 levels of yoga- beginner and intermediate. If you are in good physical shape, you should take the intermediate class, as the beginner class will be slower moving. These classes will focus on calm and relaxation, but will also be a great workout! Be prepared to learn yoga poses, breathing techniques, and various other yoga exercises that will leave you feeling great afterwards! This class is taught by a certified yoga instructor with over 400 training hours in several different yoga styles. It meets once per week for one hour. The beginner class will be Wednesdays from 7-8pm, and the Intermediate class will be Wednesdays from 8-9pm. The cost is $75 for members and $85 for non members. ZUMBA- Zumba fuses hypnotic musical rhythms and tantalizing moves to create a dynamic workout system designed to be FUN and EASY TO DO! The routines feature interval training sessions where fast and slow rhythms and resistance training are combined to tone and sculpt your body while burning fat. Add some Latin flavor and International zest into the mix and you've got ZUMBA! Coining the concept of "fitness-party" and making fitness fun, Zumba has spread like wild-fire, and has positioned itself as the single most influential movement in the industry of fitness. This class meets once or twice per week for 1 hour, and is taught by a certified ZUMBA instructor. This class will be offered two days per week: Mondays from 7-8pm and Saturdays from 9:30-10:30am. You may sign up for one or both days. The cost is $40 for members for one day and $75 for two days. For non-members, it is $45 for one day and $85 for two days. |
